Robert Glaser, Ph.D., FAAA
Executive Officer & Owner

Dr. Glaser established Audiology & Speech Associates in 1980. He has served as President of the American Academy of Audiology, the Ohio Academy of Audiology and two terms as Chairman of the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. He has served on a number of hospital and community boards and has contributed articles to professional journals and book chapters on hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting and dizziness assessment.  He is the principal author of the recently published textbook Strategic Practice Management: A Patient Centric Approach.   Dr. Glaser provides a full range of hearing and balance care for children and adults including hearing examination, hearing instrument assessment, fitting and follow-up care, and individual counseling, tinnitus evaluations and treatment protocols.  He obtained his B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Bowling Green State University, his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Audiology from Kent State University.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has received the Honors of the Association from the Ohio Academy of Audiology and the Ohio Speech & Hearing Association. 

Linda Edly Mead, M.A.
Director of Speech Pathology Services

Linda Edly Mead, M.A. SLP is the Director of Speech-Language Pathology at Audiology and Speech Associates. She has been with our practice since 1985. Besides administration, Linda practices in extended care settings, MRDD facilities and acute care hospitals, along with HeadStart programs. She has developed diagnostic expertise in dynamic swallowing studies and special therapy techniques for those with swallowing difficulties. She also works with post-stroke and laryngectomized patients. Linda earned both her B.S. and Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Miami University. She is a member of the Miami Valley Speech & Hearing Association, the Ohio Speech, Language, & Hearing Association, and the American Speech & Hearing Association.

Deborah M. Galbreath, M.S.
Speech Language Pathologist

Debbie M. Galbreath, M.S., SLP has been providing services in our practice since 1987. She specializes in children with severe delays in speech and language development and advanced auditory processing difficulties. She has served on the Cleft Palate Team at WPAFB Medical Center and as staff therapist for MRDD at Four Oaks Preschool. Debbie routinely consults with other health care professionals regarding autism, Down's syndrome and specific syndromic abnormalities manifesting as speech and language delays. She obtained her B.S. and Masters Degrees from West Virginia University in Speech- Language Pathology.

Elizabeth Griffith, M.A.
Speech Language Pathologist

Beth Griffith, M.A., SLP  joined our group in 2003.  She was a lead Speech Language Pathologist with the Rehabilitation Department at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, Ohio. She provides speech-language diagnostics and therapy for children and adults and has extensive experience in acute and intensive care settings, inpatient and extended care facilities and in home health care delivery. Beth earned a B.S. in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Ohio University and Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Cleveland State University

Dr. Glaser established Audiology & Speech Associates in 1980. He has served on a number of hospital and community boards and has contributed articles to professional journals and book chapters on hearing assessment, hearing aid fitting and dizziness assessment. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Wright State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Glaser provides a full range of hearing and balance care services to children and adults including hearing examination, neuro-diagnostic assessments including auditory brainstem studies, dizziness and balance assessment and hearing instrument fitting and follow up care and counseling. He obtained his B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Bowling Green State University, his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Audiology from Kent State University.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
